Mohamed Rahmy is a mid-career professional with fifteen years of Middle East-focused work experience, and international exposure having lived and worked across Cairo, Dubai, London and New York. Originally a corporate banker and an economist with some of MENA's top F.I.s including AAIB, EFG-Hermes and Beltone Financial, after completing his postgraduate studies he made a transition to the non-profit sector. Starting January 2013, Rahmy headed the Graduate Programs at NY-based Seeds of Peace, leading its 3,000+ alumni community and launching the organization’s GATHER initiative. Mohamed joined Endeavor in 2016 with a mandate to grow the organization’s Egypt’s operations and scale its impact nation-wide. Mohamed holds a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo, and a MA in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Mohamed is a swimmer, yogi-in-the-making, an urban trekker with a soft spot for Cairo’s modern architecture, and an avid non-fiction reader.
